[Aide] overriding url_report

Hi list,
I am new to Aide so please excuse me if it's an obvious question.
In my aide.confis defined :
report_url=file:@@{LOGDIR}/aide.log

That sound good whenever I run a check, however when I run an init the aide.log is empty.
I would like to be able to run aide -I without emptying the aide.log
I tried to add-B report_url=stdout but in my understanding stdout comes in addition to aide.log.
I would like to supersede the report_url set in the configuration file not to add another one.
Is that possible ?
