[Aide] compiling 0.15 from source on OS/X 10.4.11 - Tiger

Are there any known issues compiling aide 0.15 on os/x 10.4.11?

This is what I did:

untar bla bla...

./configure --with-mhash --disable-static --with-zlib --with-locale
--disable-lfs

( I added "--with-locale" later because I noticed it in the macports build
on another machine - but same result )

make ; make install

This is what my aide.conf looks like:

database=file:///usr/local/etc/aide.db
database_out=file:///usr/local/etc/aide.db.new
/opt/src/aide-0.15.1                                    E

* I chose something small that I knew would not change unless I changed it
* I tried "R" and various other option always with the same  output nomater

attributes: 0 1
Entry /opt/src/aide-0.15.1p/src/.deps/gnu_regex.Po in databases has
different attributes: 0 1

attributes: 0 1
Entry /opt/src/aide-0.15.1p/src/.deps/md.Po in databases has different
attributes: 0 1
...

Does anyone know what I'm missing?
