      almalinux, rockylinux do only contain 0.16-x versions.<br>

      I've tried a manual compilation, but even after a few hours of

      search no success. <br>

      I found a few hints that others run into the same problem (e.g.

      <a class="moz-txt-link-freetext" href="https://github.com/aide/aide/issues/126">https://github.com/aide/aide/issues/126</a> ), but they were closed

      with the advise to ask in this group.<br>

      So did anybody successful produced a rpm for centos8.5 or

      almalinux8.5 or similar?<br>

      ... and can provide the way?<br>
