[Aide] Does AIDE work for Ubuntu, CentOS and OpenSolaris?

Sorry for this newbie question:

Does AIDE (downloadable from this page:

http://sourceforge.net/projects/aide/

work with 

- Ubuntu
- CentOS
- OpenSolaris



As far as I understand the download package contains only the source code which needs to be compiled.

Are there somewhere pre-compiled packages for the three OS mentioned above?
