[Aide] 31_aide_apt script generating lines with '#'?

I'm running the Ubuntu aide and aide-common 0.13.1-8ubuntu3 packages.
Last night I changed the apt repository configuration a little bit,
and this morning's aide report failed with the following:

Errors produced (5 lines):
110:syntax error:

110:Error while reading configuration:

Configuration error

End of AIDE error output.

Line 110 of /var/lib/aide/aide.conf.autogenerated is this:

/var/lib/apt/lists/gb.archive.ubuntu.com_ubuntu_dists_hardy_#Added_source_(Sources|Release)$ VarFile

and there are a few more lines containing '#' in the /var/lib/apt/
stretch of the file. I suspect that something in the
/etc/aide/aide.conf.d/31_aide_apt script is generating these, but I
can't pin it down (and I haven't modified that file).

I would appreciate any suggestions for fixing this.
