[Aide] Caught SIGBUS/SEGV

Hi

I've installed Aide 0.13.1-39.36.1  (i586) using Yast on OpenSuse 11.1.

Straight out of the box I ran

MySuse:~ # aide --init

which reulted in 

Caught SIGBUS/SEGV. Exiting
Aborted

Please advise this noob what to do next. Help much appreciated.
