Our package isn't able to be released yet, but we intend on doing it some day.

I wrote something to do run aide over ssh and store the databases on a
management system so you dont have to worry about maintaining
read-only media on each of your monitored systems.   There is a
tarball of it in packetstorm's file repository.  It's called "darc".
I stopped maintaining a while back though.  There's one guy who's been
using it to monitor a large number of boxes.

Samhain is a much more complicated system but it was designed from the
ground up to use a client/server model.
