[Aide] Configuration question

Hi Guys,

And another question:
A couple of files do get changed every time the machine
boots (necessarily) and I can easily eliminate those using
aide.conf by just adding them with an exclamation mark;

However, AIDE also keeps telling me that /etc as such has
an mtime in the future (which it didn't);  how do I disable
the time-check for etc without disabling it for its children/
contents?
