Hi,

I enjoy using AIDE on a Gentoo Linux System, but now I also need it on Windows. So I installed Cygwin (1.5.12-1) and downloaded the Sources of AIDE 0.10.
According to the information from the README file and the Error messages of the ./configure script, I also installed the binary packages of flex, bison and mhash, but now ./configure says:

> checking for mhash_get_block_size in -lmhash... no
> configure: error: You must have libmhash properly installed.

So anything seemed to be wrong with mhash, although the installation process of mhash seemed to be OK. I took a closer look at the README file of the mhash sources:

> ...snip...
> Build requirements:
> cygwin-1.5.11-1 or newer
> gcc-3.3.1 or newer (did it with 3.4.1)
> binutils-20040725-2 or newer
> libtool-devel-1.5.10-1
> automake-devel-1.9.1-1
> autoconf-devel-2.59-1
> make-3.80-1 or newer
> ash-20040127-1 or newer
> fileutils-4.1 or newer
> sed-4.1.2-1 or newer
> m4-1.4-1
> perl-5 (for automake)
> ...snip...

I installed all these packages (apart from fileutils, which is now a part of coreutils, which I had installed already), reinstalled mhash, but the configure script of AIDE gives the same error message.

Any ideas?

thank you in advance
